Reflecting on my time at RBC Amplify

Through a series of miraculous strokes of luck, from being rejected to a consolation acceptance few weeks later, I ended up interning at RBC in the Amplify program this summer.

To start, I am incredibly grateful for what this summer has turned out to be. The work I did, the knowledge I learned, the mistakes I made, the people I met and the experiences I have encountered were so formative for me as not just an engineer but as a human being. In all honesty, RBC Amplify really is not your typical internship.

I have always wanted to write, but never really put any effort towards doing so. This will be my first real attempt at blogging and documenting what I am up to, whether that is tech related or just random snippets of my life.

I have always looked up to people who write, formally or informally, and I have grew tremendously from reading the things other people have written. Particularly, Max Bernstein, Michal Pitr, Patrick Collison and so many more people. To those who tune into the subsequent blogs, I hope they can help provide even the slightest insight into something interesting you didn’t know about and make you a fuller person.
